About Strong Start
Strong Start® Charitable Organization is a registered Canadian charity that helps children learn to read. We have received additional funding to rapidly accelerate our reach through partnerships with school boards, schools, educators, volunteers and community stakeholders to help address the children’s literacy crisis caused by the pandemic.
Our Literacy Campaign Goal
Our goal is to bring our Letters, Sounds and Words learn-to-read program to 750 more schools in Ontario in 750 days. If you think your school(s) would benefit from this exciting opportunity, connect with us below!
Get Started In 3 Easy Steps
Step 1: Connect with Us
The Letters, Sounds and Words program is available to support Year 2-K, Grade 1 and Grade 2 children in Ontario. Fill out our no-obligation form below to learn more about the program and how to bring it to your school(s).
Step 2: Discover Benefits
Strong Start will book a call or presentation, so you can learn more about the program, its measurable impact and easy delivery in your school(s). If our program is a good fit, you can arrange to pilot or implement the program in your school(s).
Step 3: Program Launch
By mutual agreement, Strong Start will provide all program materials, communications and training for school personnel and community volunteers to deliver a successful program in your school(s).
The Strong Start program is beneficial for our students because it builds their self-confidence. You can see it as they smile when their volunteer comes and picks them up from their classroom. They are skipping down the hallway and ready for that learning.
